Tayla Oliver DIRECTOR | LICENSED CONVEYANCER
I founded Oliver & Co. Conveyancing in 2019 (Now, Oliver Howells & Co.). My family has been in the Cessnock area for four generations, and I love working with people in my local community to help them achieve their property goals. As a former real estate agent, I’m passionate about property in our area and helping locals make their dreams come true.
Tanya Howells DIRECTOR | PRINCIPAL SOLICITOR
I hold a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University, and I was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2020. But before my admission, my journey was quite different, having spent over 20 years as a High School Teacher. My transition into the legal profession began when I worked as a Law Clerk in several Newcastle commercial law firms, specialising in property and family law. Outside of law, I love spending time with my family, including my four children and enjoy golfing umpiring netball and playing the trumpet at local ANZAC services each year.
Elisha Lansdowne SOLICITOR
Elisha holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2015 and the High Court of Australia in 2016. With a background in education, including a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology and a Master of Education (Secondary), she seamlessly merges her passion for law and teaching. When not practicing law, Elisha cherishes family time, indulges in DIY projects, tends to her garden, and savours sunny days at her favourite beachside café.
Kelly O'Brien LICENSED CONVEYANCER
After working in the industry since 2007, I knew that conveyancing was what I wanted to do. I obtained my conveyancing licence in 2015 and I haven't looked back. The favourite part of my job is helping first home buyers purchase their first home. Conveyancing aside, I love spending time with my family including my three beautiful grandkids and my dogs.
Dianne CONVEYANCING SECRETARY
Prior to joining Oliver & Co. in January 2022, I had been a paralegal in a law firm for 22 years. During this time I have done conveyancing, estates, wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardians, family law, medical negligence, debt recovery and other miscellaneous matters. I like the work I do and being able to assist people with buying and selling and I've met some lovely people over the years.
Kendall OFFICE MANAGER | RECEPTIONIST
I started working in the legal field as Junior/Receptionist in 1994. I have worked in legal, strata and the private sectors as a Legal Secretary, Strata Assistant and in Accounts. I've always enjoyed conveyancing, and I jumped at the opportunity when Tayla offered me a position. This has been the best place that I have ever worked - with the best boss! I have two beautiful daughters (aged 20 & 15) with my husband, two dogs and a granddog.
